It is very clear that obesity (being over weight ) is a huge problem around the world. Obesity is known to be a gateway for other diseases like Diabetes, heart disease and other related aliments.  

High calories and even a poor lifestyle habits can contribute immensely to the problem of over weight, also, there are a number of other environmental and lifestyle factors that are likely to play a much more significant role, mainly because most people don’t realize they’re affected by them, and therefore fail to address them. 


CAUSES OF OBESITY

1 Antibiotics In Medicine & Food

There is a strong connection between microbiome and obesity. Based on recent research, there is link between antibiotic overuse and weight gain.
There is a common need for people to treat all of their infections with antibiotics.And the problem with overusing antibiotics is that it wipes away the good bacteria in your gut. 

The good bacteria (probiotics) are, in fact, very crucial to your health to the point that researchers have liken them to a newly recognized organ.in the human body.


Antibiotics that are found in animal food are used both to eliminate diseases and can also increase weight gain. Research suggests that antibiotic found in meat has the same weight gaining effect on humans who eat it. Although this is the usual practice in countries like America and African countries that have also adopted the use of such agricultural methods.

2  Growth-Enhancing Drugs Found In Livestock Production

Drugs used to fatten up livestock have are known to have weight-gaining effects on humans who eat such diary. Ractopamine is an example of such drugs. It's a beta-agonist drug that works as a growth promoter by increasing protein synthesis, thereby making the animal more muscular.


In human medicine, beta-agonists can be found in asthma medication, and stubborn weight gain is in fact a common complaint among asthma patients that are using Advair (a beta-agonist drug). The use has become so much that the manufacturer has added weight gain to the post-marketing side effects.
It is important to know that these drugs have been known to cause infertility, birth defects, disability, and even death. So be cautious!

3 Endocrine From Household Products

Many household products contains endocrine disruptors, some of which are structurally similar to hormones such as estrogen and therefore can affect a person’s normal body functions.

Other type of  household products that contains endocrine include bisphenol-A (BPA), PCBs, phthalates, triclosan, agricultural pesticides, and fire retardants.

Certain agricultural chemicals like glyphosate in particular, can cause obesity by obliterating healthy gut bacteria. Again, a recent research has proven that glyphosate causes extreme disruption of microbes’ functions and lifecycles, and preferentially affects beneficial bacteria, allowing pathogens to overgrow.


The vast majority of the glyphosate people are eating comes from genetically engineered (GE) sugar, corn, soy, and conventionally-grown desiccated wheat. Besides altering your gut flora, glyphosate also enhances the damaging effects of other food-borne chemical residues and environmental toxins.

4 Artificial Sweeteners

Again, there is a massive misconception when it comes to artificial sweeteners. They are marketed by various beverage companies as ‘diet’ on the go, however research proven suggests otherwise.

Artificial sweeteners is also known to stimulate your appetite, increase cravings for carbs, and stimulate fat storage and obesity.  Artificial sweeteners works by tricking the brain into believing it’s receiving sugar, and when no sugar arrives, the brains signals that it needs carbs. Hence it then promotes obesity.



How To Avoid Obesity

Like i have mentioned above, one of the main ways to avoid obesity is to watch the kind of food you eat. The food you eat should be a quality one and not the quantity. 

1. Go For Organic Food 

 Organic foods does not contain harmful chemical preservatives, hormones, or pesticides that can cause obesity. 

2. Aviod processed food

Aviod processed  foods, they are really bad for your health.

3.Buy Whole, Organic foods and Cook Them Yourself.

Doing this will drastically reduce your sugar consumption, which is of course the root cause of insulin resistance and obesity. If you buy organic products, you’ll also cut your exposure to pesticides and genetically modified foods, and in ditching processed foods, you’ll automatically avoid artificial sweeteners and harmful processed fats.

4. Go For Healthy essential Fats.

If you like eating faty products,  make sure you are not consuming the wrong fats. The best sources healthy fats to add to your diet include avocados, coconuts and coconut oil, unheated organic nut oils and raw nuts and seeds.



5. Always Use glass packaging and storage containers 
To avoid endocrine disrupting chemicals affecting your health, always use a glass packing container when packaging your food, this is another way of eating clean.

Effective Functions Of The Respiratory System

The respiratory system operates in the same capacity as the cardiovascular system in that they both supply oxygen to and expel carbon dioxide from the body.

Oxygen is vital because it provides the fuel for all the body's function. The respiratory system also removes toxic waste from the body, regulates the bodies temperature and ensures the stability of the blood's acid- alkaline balance.

Divided into upper and lower respiratory systems, the upper consist of the nose and throat; the lower refers to larynx, trachea,bronchi and lungs.


The inner surface area of the lungs is approximately thirty five times larger than the surface area of your skin. This huge surface allows the body to properly absorb oxygen and expel carbon dioxide.



Breathing begins in the nose, which alerts you to potentially toxic smells. The nose also warms and filters the air which enters the body, and in turn brings out or expels airborne germs which can get trapped in the mucous membranes.


The air passes through the throat and enters the trachea through the larynx. The trachea and bronchial tubes channels air into the lungs, and protect them from unwanted germs particles which become ensnared in their mucous membranes. Before inhalation begins, the air pressure inside the lungs is equal to the atmospheric pressure outside the body. When the diaphragm contracts to increase the volume of the lungs, the pressure inside the lungs drops and air rushes in until the pressure is equal again.

Exhalation begins when the respiratory muscles relax, the diaphragm pushes up towards the lungs and the surface tension of the lungs pulls inwards, decreasing lung volume and pushing air out.


Blood and air exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide through the membrane of the bronchial tubes, in the bronchioles, alveolar, ducts and alveoli. The blood now enriched with oxygen returns to the heart to be pumped through the rest of the body.


A lack of iron or lack of blood in the body causes insufficient oxygen to be transported to the cells, resulting in symptoms of lack of adequate breathe , weakness of the body, coughing and fatigue. That is why you need to nourish your respiratory system the needed supplement to keep your systems working effectively.

Candidiasis or vagina thrush has been a major women health issues that has caused many pain. It is caused by candida, an organism which causes vagina candidiasis.

Candida Abibicans which can become an everyday inhabitant of a woman's body is found in various parts of the body, the skin , the vagina, the rectum and digestive systems.

The presence of Candida in the body is not normally detected, but when something happens to upset the natural balance, it maintains under control in the body the result is thrush or candidiasis. The itching, the mounds and the discharges which you have probably noticed are typical symptoms of vagina candidiasis.

REASONS WHY YOU MAY SUFFER FROM VAGINA THRUSH


The exact reasons for this ailment in the body is when the body is unable to keep the candida under control.


1. Too Much Antibiotic Usage

You may have taken antibiotics recently, although antibiotics are prescribed for the destruction of bacteria harmful to the body, but they can also contribute to the multiplication of Candida. Abuse of antibiotics is therefore not good.

2. Contraceptives.

If you use oral contraceptives, the probability of you developing an infection of candida increases. 


3.Oestrogen.

The increased levels of a hormone called oestrogen which is normally present in the blood circulation of the body can stimulate the increase of candida because oestrogen increases the level of a type of carbohydrate which candida uses as a nourishment, it is for these reasons that many women experience vagina candidiasis attacks after their menstrual periods, when the oestrogen concentrations reach their peak.

3. Pregnancy.

If your pregnant your vulnerability to these infection is greater than that of other women. The increased levels of oestrogen during pregnancy, as well as during the premenstrual period creates a climate favorable for the growth of candida.


4. Unusual Body Activities.

Certain conditions that predispose the body to fluctuating metabolic processes as a result of iodine in the body could also favor the growth of candida. Such conditions include hyperthyroidism otherwise called goiter and hyperthyroidism.

5. Diabetics.

You will be  more susceptible to vagina candidiasis if you are diabetic. The high levels of sugar in the blood associated with this illness can also stimulate the growth of candida.


6.Vagina Tension.

Anything that causes tension or irritation in the vagina tissue for instance, child birth, sexuak intercourse without sufficient lubrication, internal adsorbents or intrauterine devices can increase your chances of developing vagina candidiasis.

7. Ingestion of Drugs.

Ingestion of high quantity of certain drugs with high alkaline base could also result in elevation of pH both in the vagina area and the body in general. In view of the fact that candida thrives well in basic medium, suffice it to say that increased alkalinity will enhance fungal growth.

HOW TO PREVENT  VAGINA THRUSH ( CANDIDIASIS)

1. Carefully wash the vulva lips (your external genitals) which are usually a location favorable for the growth of candida.

2. Avoid using underwear from synthetic fibers and panties that are to tight. This kind of underwear retains moisture and heat which promotes the proliferation of candida.

3. When cleaning after defecation, clean towards the anus ( away from the vagina) in such a way that the candida presents in the anal region will not have access to the vagina region.

4. Use a lubricating gel during sexual intercourse to avoid brushing or irritating the vagina tissue, the vagina being point to entry of the yeast.

5. Avoid the excessive use of vagina douches (not more than once a week) , because this can affect the equilibrium of the normal bacterial flora which help to prevent infection.

6. Ensure you completely rinse off soap from your private areas after taking your bath as left over can diffuse into the vagina area, to increase the pH and promote candida growth.
