1. 1/2 of your cabbage head.

2. 6 softball size green onions.

3. 1 celery bunch.

4.1 pack ?Lipton soup mix?

5. 1 or 2 tomatoes.

6. 3 standard sized carrots.

7.10 ounce can of mushrooms

8.2 large green bell peppers.

9.2 bouillon cubes (optional).

10.Herbs, salt and pepper, parsley and garlic powder for added flavor.

Advice To Note

1. Use organically grown vegetables with your recipe.

2. Organically grown vegetables might have some signs of worms or insects, soak them in vinegar water or salt water for 15-20 minutes.

3. Use stainless-steel knife for cutting the cabbage since phytonutrients that cabbage contains react to carbon steel, turning the leaves black.

4.It is recommended that cabbage is sliced or chopped and allowed it to sit for 5-10 minutes before cooking to fasten the production of most glucosinolates.

How To Prepare Cabbage Soup:

1. Chop green onions, then place the sliced onions in the saucepan with salt.add to the onions a small amount of cooking oil.

 7. Add Maggi cubes to give the dish flavor, this is to stop the requirement of additional salt.

8. Add about 12 glasses of water in the pot. Lower the warmth and allow the soup steam. A two hour period is recommended to make the soup come out in it's best. If you feel like adding additional salt or pepper, you are free to do so.
